India, New Delhi, April 2011. From April 21 to 29, 2011, representatives from India and Singapore’s Ministries of Commerce conducted an investigation into the service outsourcing industry in those two countries. Major outsourcing companies were visited to gain an understanding of the outsourcing industry’s current conditions. Among these visits, Assistant Minister of Commerce Ms. Qiu Hong and the accompanying leaders visited Beyondsoft’s India branch, Eastern Software Systems, to learn about Beyondsoft’s development in India.

Anil Bakht, General Manager of ESS Beyondsoft, spoke to the visitors about the history and progress of Beyondsoft’s India operation, and then led the participants on a tour of the facilities. In addition to Ms. Qiu Hong, attendees included Deputy Director of Trade in Services, Shan Qingjiang; Trade in Services Division Director of the Ministry of Commerce, Xu Xingfeng; commercial counselor of the Chinese Embassy in India, Peng Gang; and the Deputy Secretaries of the Bureaus of Commerce of Nanjing, Dalian, Chengdu, Changsha, and Guangzhou.?
